The direct beach access was incredible, and the swings by the shore made for perfect sunset watching. The flamingo tour nearby was a delightful surprise that added to our memorable experience.

This charming little gem exceeded my expectations! The location right on the beach offered easy access to stunning views. Rooms are newly renovated, cozy, and clean, featuring modern amenities. The thoughtful touches, like a foot rinse faucet, made it even better. Arturo, the friendly manager, ensured a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Ideal for a relaxing getaway

The beach access was very nice,,,, just steps away from my room, I could hear the waves crashing all night! The manager was super accommodating, he even helped me arrange a flamingo tour,, which was an lovely experience watching those birds up close.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain,, but you get what you pay for.

The mattresses were incredibly hard, making sleep difficult for us. As an older couple, we needed a more comfortable bed. Additionally, the WiFi was unreliable, cutting out in the evenings.

San Julio Hotel hit all the right notes for my stay in Celestun. The immediate proximity to the beach is unmatched, making morning walks an absolute delight. My room was cozy with a comfy bed and great air conditioning. Hot showers worked perfectly every time, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities. The owner, though not fluent in English, was always ready to help, which made me feel welcomed. Internet connection was reliable, allowing me to stay connected when needed. However, the hotel facade could use a little sprucing up—just doesn't match the charm inside. Although I had a great experience, the beach could benefit from some lounge chairs. Carrying them in and out was inconvenient. Still, the sunsets were breathtaking, so you can’t complain too much about that. Overall, a lovely stay!

The friendly owner was exceptionally helpful, even with the language barrier, showcasing great hospitality. One highlight was the opportunity to indulge in delicious hand-pulled noodles nearby, which added a delightful culinary touch to the stay.
